These Liners are definitely tighter than your standard needle, the sizing is actually closer to a bugpin equivalent so keep that in mind when picking sizes. This is just because of the super long taper and the tight grouping,  they pop open with a quick lighter hit for a bolder line that is still solid without the seperate needle liney look. They are super consistent and lay awesome effortless lines.
